Andrea and Sam: Wedding

Andrea and Sam were the perfect bride and groom to work with. We had been looking forward to their wedding since we shot their engagement session in May because of how much fun they were and I have to say, they didn't disappoint this time around!

You could feel the excitement in the room as each bridesmaid did her part to make sure that Andrea didn't have to worry about anything but getting ready to meet the man of her dreams. The room was a whirlwind of activity, but the minute Andrea put that dress on... everything was at a standstill. She. Looked. AMAZING! Paige and I even had to remind ourselves to quit ooh-ing and ahh-ing with everyone and start snapping pictures again!

What were the guys doing while all of this was going on?

Sam and his groomsmen were hanging out at the South Shore Harbour Resort looking completely debonair in their tuxes. They enjoyed a few drinks, had some good laughs, and Sam wore a look of complete confidence through it all knowing that he was about to marry the greatest girl he had ever known.

The ceremony was held at the beautiful St. Mary Catholic Church in League City and it went perfectly! As soon as the words "you may kiss the bride" were uttered, the room erupted in cheers for the new Mr. and Mrs. After a few more pictures, it was time to head back over to the resort to start the party - and man was it a good one.

Andrea and Sam, thanks so much for letting us be a part such an important day. Y'all are awesome!

Karrie and Nestor Wedding

Last Sunday, we had the privilege of shooting Karrie and Nestor's wedding at Rice Memorial Chapel. Before we left the house it was hailing(!), so we were a little uncertain about being able to shoot outside. The radar picture of what was coming only solidified that uncertainty. Once we got there, the clouds dropped a few more sprinkles and then departed to reveal an amazing blue sky for the rest of the evening. It really was a miracle...

Karrie appeared calm and collected as she prepared to walk down the aisle, but she wasn't fooling anyone. The excitement was evident in her sparkling eyes and radiant smile. We even managed to snag a couple of photos of her peeking around the corner to catch a glimpse of the man she was about to marry.

As Nestor waited on the moment he would see his bride, he couldn't stop smiling. The smiles continued through their touching ceremony, and never faded as the new Mr. and Mrs. danced the night away.

Karrie and Nestor, thanks to you for allowing us to be a part of your day. At times, I had to remind myself to keep clicking, even though there were tears clouding up my viewfinder! It's so easy to see the love and happiness you share, and we wish you all the best in your life together. Enjoy Spain!
